Yes it’s a great program. I did mention that anyone downloading IrfanView should make sure that they also download the Plugin pack. Doing this really opens up a whole load of possibilities.
No photographer should be without IrfanView

Glad to like Irfanview Philip. Don’t forget to also download the additional “plugins” pack. It provides extra support for RAW data etc.

I’ve been using Irfanview for many years. It’s also great for making contact sheets.

Hi lighthouse fans

The name of the Nash Point lighthouse keeper shown in the photo is Nathan Illston who worked there in the 80′s and 90′s He appeared in an article in the local newspaper the South Wales Gazette when he met and married a lady from Cebu city in the Philippines when he was in his sixties. They had a daughter born while they were living at the lighthouse cottage
They became friends of ours as my wife comes from the same Philippine island and we stayed at the lighthouse on several occasions. When he retired in the early 90′s the family moved to the Philippines to live where they had another daughter
I have visited them several times there in recent years
