The jeweller

Jeweller and silversmith Roger Gibbon spent most of his working life working in London for royal jewellers Aspreys. Today he has turned his remarkable skills to producing beautiful silver jewellery from a small workshop in his jewellery shop 'Tollbooth Jewellery', on Kirkcudbright's High Street.

You may get the opportunity to call in on Roger and photograph him at work. Space in his workshop is very restricted, so you will find plenty to test your ingenuity and camera skills. All the more reason why this is a worthwhile exercise - Once again, Philip will be right there working beside you offering his advice and help to enable you to capture some outstanding photographs in these difficult conditions.
