Real shops
Real shops with real people behind the counter, that's what you'll find in Kirkcudbright. Everything from book shops, antique shops and shops where you can buy local hand-made chocolates. The shop frontages nearly all make interesting pictures, and the shopkeepers themselves are always happy to help.
Are you nervous about photographing people? Don't worry, you are not alone - I get lots of students who feel the same way. It is one of the things I can help you with, and you'll get plenty of opportunity to practise in Kirkcudbright.
