River trips
Once they see the delightful town and countryside of Kirkcudbright, many of Philip's students decide to extend their stay - especially when they discover just how well they are looked after at The Selkirk Arms or The Greengate. Now former fisherman Gary McKie has started a new venture here in Kirkcudbright - pleasure boat trips along the River Dee.
You'll find all the information you need about times of sailings at the Tourist Board Office in the harbour Square. The 'Lovely Nellie' is a purpose-built pleasure trip boat with a powerful engine and all the necessary safety equipment, so you'll be on a safe boat with an experienced skipper. All you have to do is sit back and watch the wildlife and scenery - and perhaps take some pictures as you cruise along.
