Photography courses with Philip Dunn
are based in
KIRKCUDBRIGHT - SCOTLAND'S ARTISTS' TOWN
Kirkcudbright is pronounced 'Ker-coo-bree' with the emphasis on the second syllable.

HOW TO FIND US

Kirkcudbright is on the Solway coast in SW Scotland. The nearest major town is Dumfries, about 24 miles east of us. Kirkcudbright is just 4 miles off the main A75 Gretna to Stranraer road. When travelling west along the A75, turn left on the A711 about 3 miles AFTER passing the signs for Castle Douglas. The A711 takes you straight into Kirkkcudbright - just 4 miles.

If you stop to ask directions, remember, Kirkcudbright is pronounced Ker-coo-bree.

Most students come by car, others have used the train, buses, and some fly to one of Glasgow's two airports and hire a car. Newcastle Airport is another option. It is sometimes possible (but not always) to arrange transport from the railway station in Dumfries - please ask when booking.
