Mike Gove, seen far right . Mike produced some meticulous shots, including some outstanding work when we visited Pedro, a local farmer.

Hywel Beynon was one of the most intrepid members of the group. He often went off exploring alone either on foot or hired bike, always returning for guidance and feedback on beautiful images like the one right.

I just love Hywel's picture of seed pods in a tree against the deep blue sky. Brilliant work.

Neil Sinclair really grew in confidence during the week. He even won the prize for the 'Most Memorable Picture of the S'Algar Hotel' with his evening shot of the hotel (below) reflected in the swimming pool at dusk. The prize of a hand-made decorated box was donated by the hotel.

Right, Neil Sinclair's winning shot of the S'Algar Hotel.

Mark McIntosh produced some beautiful photographs including this superb shot of a horse at the farm we visited. I just love this picture, it captures perfectly the grace and movement of the horse and has an extraordinary 'sense of place'.

Amanda's lovely smile and sense of fun found its way into the pictures she took... like this happy picture she spotted during our walk through the streets of Mahon. She started the week with a dread of photographing people. By the end of the week she admitted to being a confirmed 'people photographer'.

A smashing fun picture by Amanda
