These photography holidays in Menorca are all about learning and having fun. They are led by me, Philip Dunn, a former Sunday Times travel photographer. I have over 40 years experience as a professional photographer and I’ve worked for every top national newspaper and magazine in the UK . For 10 years I’ve been teaching and coaching photographers of all levels – from complete newcomers to Royal Society Fellows and from local journalists to hardened paparazzi professionals.

The main reason I run my photography holidays in Menorca is because the island is the perfect classroom for teaching travel photography. It has everything you need close-to-hand, without the crowds of the Mediterranean’s larger islands.

The S’Algar Hotel
On your photograhy holiday you’ll stay in the lovely Four Star S’Algar Hotel. The owners of the S’Algar Hotel have been family friends for more than 30 years and they always ensure our photographers are especially well looked after.
The S’Algar Hotel is situated right beside the sea. There is also a beautiful swimming pool with a first class bar serving what I believe is the best coffee in Menorca.
Nearby there are good bars and lovely walks nearby with opportunities for photographs at almost every turn.

A photography holiday experience
This photography holiday is a very special photographic learning experience. You’ll enjoy the company of like-minded people who are happy to share their knowledge of photography. Hundreds of wonderful photographs are taken and many happy people go home with smiles on their faces. I am always genuinely sad to see people leave at the end of the photography holiday because our photographers become personal friends.
