Photography Holiday Itinerary
This Photography Holiday itinerary represents just a sample of the sort of places we go to and the subjects we often cover in Menorca. Each holiday differs – there are so many wonderful places and subjects to photograph in Menorca. Philip Dunn will work alongside you at all these locations – ensuring you always have a highly experience photography tutor on hand.
It does not represent the places or subjects covered for the Photography Holidays when the emphasis is on photographing Menorca’s wonderful wild flowers – like the holiday 7th-14th May 2010.

Friday
Arrival day. Some arriving late. Dinner in hotel
SaturdayMorning: Philip will talk to the photographers – and take a look at some of your pictures – our starting point.
1230 Welcome drinks at the pool side bar for everyone. Cava and Menorcan canapes
1430 Walk along cliffs to Alcaufar, small fishing village to get your shutter fingers working
1730 Trip to horse trotting races – fabulous opportunities for photographing action on the track and horses & people in the stables
2000 Dinner at hotel
Sunday
0830 Trip to Bloody Island – in Mahon Harbour – short boat trip. Interiors/exteriors/people.
1230 Return to hotel.
Afternoon free
1700 Binibeca – village with unusual architecture. The challenge of photographing white-on-white and using shadows for effective image composition
2030 dinner at hotel
Monday
0930 Photographers to Mahon calling on the way to photograph Pedro (if possible), local character. On to Mahon for photography walk through town.Afternoon free.
1930 Dinner at hotel
2030 Philip gives practical outdoor demonstration of using off-camera flash and mixing light colour temperatures
Tuesday
0930 Photographers’ trip to Ciutedella old town. Opportunities abound for street photography and architecture. Lunch in harbourside cafe
1600 Return to S’Algar

Wednesday
Morning sort images on your computers. Philip will be available in the morning to look at some of your pictures and discuss them with you.1330 Afternoon trip to La Mola – old fortifications at Mahon Harbour entrance: interiors, still life, landscape, architecture – an amazing array of subjects to photograph including interiors – tripods very useful here.

Free day for personal shopping etc.
2030 Farewell drinks party for everyone – and the famous ‘Light Monkey Awards’
Friday
Transfer from Hotel to airport for respective flights back to reality.
