locations you may visit with Philip Dunn
This is
what Stuart said about his tuition...
"You manage to explain photography
concepts and points very simply where others have overly complicated the
subject. Keeping it simple really does allows you to look around you more
and focus on the pictures you want to take, instead of wasting time worrying
about complicated theories to set the camera up."
WHAT CAMERA?

It doesn't matter if you use a top-of-the-range SLR or a simple snapshot camera - you can still learn how to take better pictures and make the most of what you have.

ABOUT THE COURSES
The word 'course' sounds terribly formal. One student suggested I should use the word 'coaching' instead. The time you spend with me is anything but formal. There is no rigid format. The tuition is adjusted to suit your own level of experience - that's because I work only on a one-to-one, or very small group basis. I will show you how to get the most from your digital camera.
I do not believe that photography is a mysterious art, so let's cut out the myth and free you up to achieve better results. You'll get a lot more fun from photography and you may even be able to make some money from your pictures. Some of my students have done just that. You will learn many 'tricks' of the trade.
I'll teach you a method of working that's much more valuable than a whole bagful of expensive gear. It will always lead to better pictures. It doesn't matter what level you have achieved - I will open your eyes to a whole new way of seeing.
Work with a professional
I have 40 years professional photography
experience behind me... staffman with the Daily Express, and many years as
the travel photographer with the Sunday Times. As a freelance, I have worked
for almost all the UK's top newspapers and magazines, and also in the competitive
world of stock photography.
You can gain from all this experience in the lovely harbour town of Kirkcudbright in SW Scotland.
How much
will it cost?
For one-to-one tuition
the price is just £295 UK pounds per day. For two or three people the
cost is £175 each per day.
More details
The investment you make in this tuition will be repaid time and time again with added enjoyment from your photography.
