Val wrote: "Dear Philip and Norene, Many thanks for two photo-enlightening days! It was a lot of fun and all sounded so simple that I am dying to get out with my camera to see what I can capture! I am now trying to ingest my camera manual ... see how you've inspired me to do my homework! I hope to come back and give myself some more to think about. Thank you both very much. Best wishes. Peter Woodifield with his daughter Frances "Thank you SO much for a wonderfully informative and yet relaxed day. I know I for one will get much better picture in South Africa than I would otherwise have done and we both came away really very excited - not least because, with a bit of thought, it's a lot easier to take better pictures than we'd feared! I think we both felt our appetite whetted for more! Please do thank Norene for entertaining us so royally and giving us a scrumptious lunch. You both made us feel so welcome.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHY HOLIDAY IN MENORCA

Mary Askew

Mary returned for a second course with Philip. Mary is a BBC journalist and is about to set off on a one year overland trip across Africa.
"It's really all so enjoyable," she said. "And I have learned so much - I just hope I can put everything into practice... and my 'magic monkeys' are working overtime."
John Maddison

"Thank
you for a tremendously stimulating weekend. It was like working with friends.
Not at all formal. You have rekindled my enthusiasm."

Beachcombing? No, this is course student Mark Setchell, from Cambridge, learning how to 'make pictures happen' during his two days with Philip.

John Washington from Bolton wrote: "...thanks for the amount of knowledge you were able to give over the the course of just 2 days. Your enthusiasm, professional manner and humour made for a wonderful learning experience which I will never forget.
